Ivy has conducted research, assisted in drafting of documents and worked alongside experienced lawyers in a wide range of legal matters. She has a particular interest in taxation and commercial law litigation, recently being involved in billion Kwacha tax disputes and complex commercial cases. Her work ethic and values align with those of DNC Chambers. She started her journey with the Firm as an intern in 2023 before becoming an Associate in January 2024.
Ivy has experience in legal research having served as a research assistant to distinguished figures such as the former Attorney General, a Judge of the High Court, and accomplished Professors at the law school. Her writing acumen is underscored by her victory in the prestigious Lex-Lead Essay Competition. She has also contributed to national discourse through the publication of various articles including in national newspapers.
Consistently recognized for academic excellence and top performance, Ivy received the Faculty of Law Head's List Excellence Award at the University of Malawi for three consecutive years from 2019 to 2021.
